About retreat offerings

I teach several retreats a year which allow for a deep dive into the potency and playfulness of Rosen Method Movement.

I am also available to create or collaborate with you on hosting a retreat in your space or with a particular group.

My background allows me to create movement meditations, embodied awareness practices, playful and fun group movement, partner work for deep connection to one’s self and one’s partner, and sharing circles for deep connection in community.  If you want to get in touch with me to discuss how I can host or collaborate with you on a retreat for your group, please contact me.

As we emerge into the light, we can build trust and find delight- in our body and in life- one movement at at a time. Tuning into our structure can be both grounding and freeing. Rosen Movement is a catalyst for connecting deeply and tenderly with ourselves and our communities, touching our hearts with music, movement and presence.

Each day will include movement classes, sharing circles, living anatomy and experiential exercises. This workshop is open to participants looking for personal growth and/or those training to become Rosen Method Movement teachers.

Offered by Rosen Method: The Berkeley Center. Taught by Senior Training Teachers: Karen Peters, Theresa Garcia, and Kate O'Shea, co-teaching with Madeline Martin.

What Retreat Co-hosts Say:

Karen and I worked together to create several online retreats during the pandemic. Karen is creative, collaborative, and caring, and the retreats we designed and led together far exceeded my expectations going in. Karen has an incredible intuitive sense of how movement changes the retreat experience and how it fits into the context of the retreat. I hope to have the chance to work with her again.
